You have to boil this mixture on high heat. Keep stirring regularly. Later you can reduce the heat to medium. Let it boil continuously. Then stop stirring. You can remove the pan from the heat if the mixture is 232 degree hot. If it forms a delicate ball on dropping into the cold water, take it off. But you need to mix the pie spice, butter, vanilla crust, and nuts together by stirring. Let it turn lukewarm. In the next step you have to beat the mixture to make it thicker and lose its gloss up to some extent. Pour it into a pan and when it has turned firm, you can cut it into pieces.
